The Israeli entity's threat to prevent the humanitarian ship "Madeleine" from reaching Gaza and using force to intercept it constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and human rights. The ship carries humanitarian aid and peaceful activists, operates according to international maritime and humanitarian law, and poses no military threat.
Preventing aid from reaching Gaza exacerbates the humanitarian crisis and reinforces the blockade that the population has suffered from for years, which contradicts the principles of justice and human dignity that the entity tries to promote.
The use of force against a civilian ship carrying passengers including activists, parliamentarians, and journalists is a serious escalation and a violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention that protects civilians in conflicts.
Moreover, describing activist Greta Thunberg and her colleagues as "Hamas promoters" and attempting to stigmatize them with "anti-Semitism" is an attempt to justify the Israeli entity's violations and to justify its use of force against them, while reality confirms that this initiative is symbolic and peaceful, aimed at delivering aid to break the unjust blockade.
The international community, including UN experts, has called for providing a safe passage for the ship to ensure aid delivery and rescue civilians in Gaza, and the Israeli entity must comply with these demands.
In summary, Israel's prevention of the ship and use of force against it is a clear violation of international law and human rights, and increases the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza. This oppressive entity must be confronted by exposing its plans and violations, exposing those who collaborate with it, and applying pressure through all available means.
