The Final Touch of Musk... The Spoils of Ramadan.

  • In the stillness of the night, when voices fall silent,
  • movements become faint, and the soul is left alone with itself,
  • there... where there is no observer but Allah, and no companion but His remembrance,
  • there the heart pauses for a moment of contemplation, reflecting on blessings, and sees a wonder:
  • Islam—no blessing can compare to it, even if all other blessings were gathered together.
  • The blessing of Islam alone is sufficient.

  • The blessing of knowing your Lord, the blessing of prostrating to Allah,
  • the blessing of fasting in Ramadan, the blessing of reading the Qur’an.
  • If you were given the world and all it contains, and you made all your days like spring and all your nights celebrations,
  • then lost the blessing of Islam, everything would be nothing.

  • It is the blessing that expands the chest, illuminates the heart,
  • and fills the soul with serenity and tranquility.
  • A blessing that cannot be priced in gold or measured in wealth.
  • It is Allah’s greatest gift, His supreme grant.

  • "There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves. Grievous to him is what you suffer; [he is] concerned over you and to the believers is kind and merciful." (Qur’an 9:128)

  • Whenever I contemplate this great religion, I see in it a wonder.
  • Everything connected to it, you see in it honor ('Izzah).
  • An honor that makes you walk on earth with your head held high,
  • your heart at peace, fearing no one's blame for the sake of Allah.

  • This religion could only be the legislation of the Almighty, the All-Wise.
  • Honorable in its rulings, Wise in its legislations.
  • He did not place a ruling except for a wisdom,
  • nor prescribe a command except for a benefit,
  • nor forbid anything except for harm.
  • Contemplate prayer, you find it rest, not fatigue.
  • Contemplate fasting, you find it health, not deprivation.
  • Contemplate Zakat, you find it growth, not loss.
  • Contemplate Hajj, you find it a journey of purification, not a journey of hardship.
  • The legislation of the Almighty, the All-Wise, Who encompasses everything in knowledge and perfects everything in creation.

  • Indeed, in this religion are meanings too sublime to describe.
  • Everything connected to it, you see in it the meanings of nobility and high standard (Ruqy).
  • Nobility in character, nobility in dealings, nobility in feelings.
  • A religion that elevates its follower to the highest heights,
  • and makes them adopt the character of the prophets,
  • and walk in the footsteps of the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous.

  • You see in it both responsibility (Takleef) and honor (Tashreef).
  • You are tasked with prayer, so you are honored with intimate conversation (Munajah).
  • You are tasked with fasting, so you are honored with night prayer (Qiyam).
  • You are tasked with Zakat, so you are blessed with giving.
  • He only tasked you to honor you, and only commanded you to elevate you,
  • and only forbade you to protect you.
  • A responsibility that elevates, and an honor that will intercede for its bearer.

  • .....

  • And the best of this religion is the Word of the Lord of the Worlds.
  • The Qur’an is the honor and nobility for the Muslims.
  • "And indeed, it is a remembrance for you and your people, and you [all] will be questioned." (Qur’an 43:44)

  • The Word of Allah, if Muslims were to truly recite it as it deserves and act upon it,
  • it would change their lives, illuminate their paths, and fill their hearts with light.
  • A Qur’an containing verses and exhortations that water the heart with the drink of faith,
  • a drink that quenches not just for an hour, but for an entire lifetime.
  • Verses you hear, and you feel as if light is flowing into your soul,
  • exhortations you read, and you feel as if a merciful hand is wiping away your wounds.
  • A drink of faith that gives the heart a different beat, a beat for Allah, for the sake of Allah, and with Allah.
  •  Then, Allah, in [blessed] seasons, grants an increase of His bounty, where the breezes [of mercy] blow.

  • .....

  • Ramadan, how great this month is!
  • "The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it." (Qur’an 2:185)

  • A month in which mercies descend, sins are forgiven, and stumbles are overlooked,
  • a month in which Allah bestows upon the Muslims an outpouring of His generosity, a flood of His kindness.
  • He bestows upon them forgiveness, and freedom from the Fire.
  • Good deeds multiply in it, and rewards are multiplied by the promise of a Lord who is Appreciative (Shakur):
  • He appreciates the little, and gives immense reward for simple giving.

  • Ask yourself before you marvel at your deeds,
  • were you able to do all this on your own?
  • All power and strength are from Him; He is the One who bestowed it.
  • You could not fast except by His success (Tawfiq), nor pray at night except by His company, nor strive except by His guidance.
  • He guided you initially, and He is the One who aided you and granted you success.
  • Could you have fasted the entire month, had Allah not made it easy for you?
  • Could you have maintained the night prayer, had Allah not extended you strength?
  • Your Lord gives you from abilities and success what never crosses your mind.
  • He gives you unimaginable strength, patience you cannot conceive, and determination you never thought you possessed.
  • He gives you from His gifts, grants you from His blessings, and bestows upon you from His favors.

  • Then the noble month calls out to you:
  • Take a share for yourself in every door of goodness.
  • Provision yourself for the coming days, for the need for provisions is great,
  • the road is long, and the hardships are many.
  • Drink deeply so you may rise in the ranks of Paradise. "Indeed, Allah's commodity is expensive."
  • "Race toward forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden whose width is like the width of the heavens and earth, prepared for those who believed in Allah and His messengers. That is the bounty of Allah which He gives to whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty." (Qur’an 57:21)

  • .....

  • And here the month is passing, and the last ten days approach..
  • The race of the obedient intensifies in the days of increased virtue.
  • Ambitions rise, bodies become active, and hearts ignite.
  • Everyone wants to seize the opportunity, everyone wants to win,
  • everyone wants to be among the foremost.

  • These are the last ten days, and what spoils they are!
  • Days that are the essence of the month, the summary of the year, and the blessed breezes of a lifetime.
  • In them is a magnificent night: "And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?" (Qur’an 97:2)
  • A night, deeds during which are better than a thousand months.
  • The night the Qur'an was revealed, the night the angels descend, the night of peace until the break of dawn.
  • A night, whoever stays up in prayer out of faith and hope for reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.
  • A night, deeds during which equal worship for more than eighty years.
  • O Allah! How great this night is! And how heavy will be the scales of those who revive it!

  • ......

  • Alas for the days that fly by so quickly!
  • The days of Ramadan pass as if they were a flash of lightning,
  • barely beginning until they end, and barely welcomed until they depart.
  • Alas for the days that have passed, the nights that have gone,
  • and the hours that have vanished, if we did not seize them as we should, and did not utilize them as we must.
  • And alas for the breezes of mercy and the outpouring of gifts.
  • The breezes of mercy were blowing upon us,
  • and the gifts were showering upon us,
  • and we were in a flood of goodness and blessings,
  • then the month ended and the breezes went away.
  • Fortunate is the one who appreciated the blessing, and successful is the one who seized it..
  • [14/03/2026 15:32] أم هارون: The one who knew the value of Islam, the value of the Qur'an, the value of Ramadan, the value of the last ten days, and the value of the Night of Decree.
  • And Allah looks upon his heart and finds him magnifying Him, magnifying His religion, magnifying His month, magnifying its nights, and magnifying the Night of Decree.
  • And is grateful for blessings, grateful to Allah for the blessing of Islam, grateful to Allah for the blessing of the Qur'an, grateful to Allah for the blessing of Ramadan.
  • And is determined in his giving, determined in worship, determined in acts of devotion, seizing what remains of the days, and saving from the abundance of good deeds.

  • O Allah, make us among the successful ones who appreciated the blessings so they magnified them, and were grateful for them so You increased them, and strove in them so they pleased You.

  • O Allah, accept from us [our deeds in] Ramadan, help us to seize what remains of the last ten days, allow us to reach the Night of Decree, and write us among those freed from the Fire on this night, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

  • And may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon our Master Muhammad and his family and companions.
